Seewald Laboratories, Inc. is an independent laboratory serving industry, municipalities, and the private sector. Since its founding in 1939, Seewald Laboratories, Inc. has ventured to continually adapt to the changes of the environmental industry. In doing so, Seewald Laboratories, Inc. has become the foremost analytical laboratory in the area. We pride ourselves on the quality, consistency, and accuracy of our test results. Seewald Laboratories, Inc. is capable of sampling and testing media including, but not limited to, drinking water, industrial wastewater, solid wastes, and food and dairy products.

Seewald Laboratories, Inc. holds certification in the State of Pennsylvania (ID #41-034) and the State of Maryland (ID #1321) for compliance under the Safe Drinking Water Act for the following categories:

Quality Assurance/Quality Control

Seewald Laboratories, Inc. has adopted a strict quality control program which includes instrument calibration and maintenance, replicate sample and surrogate testing, and reference manual testing. Our laboratory participates in all EPA proficiency evaluation studies which include water supply, water pollution, and DMR QA/QC programs. In addition to the mandated EPA Studies, our laboratory participates in voluntary Quarterly QC Studies supplied to out laboratory from outside sources.

As the needs of the environmentally consious society have grown, Seewald Laboratories, Inc. has expanded and modernized equipment to better serve your needs. State of the art instuments are utilized in all analyses. Our technology allows us to test for the presence trihalomethanes, pesticides, metals and bacteria employing such techniques as gas chromatography, mass spectroscopy, atomic absorption, and microbiological testing.
